The basics of reading Financial Statements

14,90

Description

In the business world, it's important to know financial statements, it’s one of the most important information resources you can find about a company, and it’s official. It may not have all the information you need, but it has a lot, and it's all about financial information, as the title says, in here we will dive deeper to understand and know more about it.

The topic of Financial statement is huge, for sure we can’t cover everything in one hour of course content, and that’s why here I will focus mainly on how to read financial statements, what are the components of it, and what do they mean. Since the financial statement document has a lot of information and it seems overwhelming for someone seeing it for the first time, this course is focused on simplifying that process.

The structure of my course will simply start by explaining what is Financial statement, a bit of history behind it, and how it comes to be as it is today. After we will look at the various tables in the financial statement, the main four tables, I will discuss and explain in deeper details each one of them. I will use the financial statement of a real company as an example, as it can be found publicly.

And last I will explain a bit beyond the scope of the financial statements, about the other details the companies usually share, either through calls, or presentation or the investor relations part in summary.

All the best of luck, I hope you will enjoy and understand this course.
