My name is Tiziana, Tia for my students and friends. I am a multi-faceted, experienced and enthusiastic teacher of English AFL, with an Honour degree cum laude in foreign languages (English, French, Italian) , master in Linguistics and diploma in English Literature , with a “can do” attitude and desire to constantly improve myself on personal and professional level. I am very flexible, trustworthy with excellent interpersonal skills and integrity. I am fully DBS checked. After more than 25 years of teaching, In August 2021 I applied for an early retirement in order to start a new challenge and work in a completely new environment: online teaching. In fact, I am now working as an online private teacher on different online platforms. Actually, the digital transformation of schools has challenged me to keep uptodate on new technologies and Apps due to the ever-accellerating pace of new educational tools. I believe that any pupil can achieve the desidered goal if he/she only believes in himself/herself. Actually, i believe that the greatest responsibility a teacher has is that to enhance motivation and self-confidence in learners. My long experience includes, but is not limited to, the following teaching areas: Business English, Literature, Cambridge and Trinity exam preparation (PET B1- FIRST B2- IELTS 5.5/6.0)
